Q: How do you ship your targets?
A: This is a two-part answer.
Part 1 – How we box our targets
For approximately less than 200 targets, we use boxes that are either 24x4x4, 24x6x6, or 24x8x8. This may vary depending which target(s) you order. We roll all our targets loosely and fill any empty space in the box with plenty of tissue paper to keep your targets safe and secure. Orders of 200 or more targets will ship FLAT. For orders of ~2,500 or more targets, please make sure to inquire about motor freight shipping. You may call us at 407-290-5800 or e-mail Patty at patty@thebakerpress.com for motor freight questions.
Part 2 – What shipping services we use
We use USPS and UPS as our 2 main shipping services. Please remember, shipping prices are determined by them and are based on weight and size of the box.
Q: Can I pick up targets at your location?
A: Yes, you’re welcome to come pick up at our location. We do ask that you call (407-290-5800) or e-mail (patty@thebakerpress.com) ahead of time to let us know what targets you’d like to pick up. That way we can get them printed in case we are out-of-stock on anything. Please note have regular business hours as a commercial printing company and are closed on the weekends.
Q: Why is there a $5.00 handling fee?
A: We have a flat $5.00 handling fee for all orders to cover the cost of labor and materials. Many of our orders ship in large boxes (as large as 23″ x 35″), and these boxes range in cost from $3.00-$8.00. We hope you understand our need to cover these material and labor costs.
Q: How fast will my order ship?
A: We strive to provide super fast shipping on every order! Oftentimes, as long as your order is placed by 1pm EST, we will ship it that same day! Otherwise, we aim for at least next day shipping. In rare cases, a target is out of stock AND our presses our backed up with other work. In those rare cases, it may be 2 days before your order ships. But trust us, we want to get your order as soon as we possibly can! That is a main goal here at Baker Targets.
Q: Do you offer dealer pricing?
A: Yes, absolutely. Our dealer pricing is the same as our bulk/wholesale pricing. All of our targets can be purchased in discounted packs of 250, a great option for dealers! And don’t forget about motor freight shipping for bulk orders of ~2,500 or more to save on shipping costs.
Q: Do you offer dealer discounts?
A: Beyond our bulk/wholesale pricing, we have two discount codes which are available when purchasing large quantities. For orders over $500 (excluding shipping), the coupon code Wholesale5 can be used at checkout for a 5% discount. For orders over $1,000 (excluding shipping), the coupon code Wholesale10 can be used at checkout for a 10% discount. However, if you plan on ordering that many, we do encourage you to call us ahead of time to arrange for motor freight shipping to save on shipping costs. We will still apply the discounts over the phone 🙂
Q: How do I go about having custom targets printed?
A: It’s really simple! All you need to do to get going is give us a call at 407-290-5800 (Monday-Friday, 9am-5:00pm EST) or send an e-mail to Patty at patty@thebakerpress.com. Here is some information we will want from you in order to give you an accurate quote: 1. How many targets you want, 2. What size you want your targets to be (we can print up to 40”), 3. What weight paper you want used (i.e.: standard like a letterhead, slightly heavier, or extra heavy), 4. How many colors you want it to be (we quote as 1 color, 2 colors and full color), and 5. Your shipping zip code. If you’re not sure exactly what you want, that’s OK too — we can quote you on multiple options! For a sample custom price sheet, make sure to visit our custom targets page!
Q: Can you help me design a custom target?
A: Absolutely! Our artist Heidi is amazing and can work with even the simplest idea you might have. Also, we do not charge extra for design work! What a deal!
